HISTORY:  For years I had travelled to tropical destinations wishing that I could see what was under the surface of the ocean. I would return from vacation and swear to myself that I would get certified, and then life would get in the way and I would end up on another beach wishing I had been certified again. In 2007 I found myself in Antigua at a hotel which had its own dive shop. I signed up for the Discover Scuba class, swam circles in their tiny pool, then jumped in the ocean with the instructor for the first time. I was like a duck to water. It just seemed natural. I returned from vacation and signed up for the Open Water course the very next day. The week after I was certified I was lucky enough to run into a group of local divers on their way to Forgetmenot Pond. I tagged along and have become good friends with them and the local dive community since. I was hooked on every sort of diving and progressed through the training to Divemaster certification very quickly. I have been hooked on exploring and photographing the world's oceans ever since.
MOST MEMORABLE DIVES:  Diving with Tiger Sharks, Hammerheads, Manta Rays and Whalesharks at Cocos Island, Costa Rica. This is the most challenging diving I've ever done. Diving with hundreds of Hammerheads on every dive, in extreme current and surge, was an unbelievable experience.
